Ta'awuniya Insurance is a public shareholding company registered in Sudan since 1989, and it began operating in the insurance sector in 1991 under the Islamic cooperative (Takaful) approach.

Shareholders and Board of Directors: The company’s Board of Directors includes several Sudanese commercial banks, including Farmers Commercial Bank, Nile Bank for Commerce and Development, Bank of Khartoum, Savings and Social Development Bank, and the Agricultural Bank of Sudan, in addition to the Police Social Insurance Fund, along with a number of financial institutions and individual shareholders.
