In line with its strategic plans aimed at supporting and securing the agricultural and livestock sectors, and strengthening fruitful partnerships with governmental and state authorities, the Director of Agricultural Insurance at Taawuniya Insurance Company, Engineer Khalid Mahjoub Saleh, met with the Minister of Production and Economic Resources of White Nile State, Engineer Wisal Al-Sheikh Farah.

The Director of Agricultural Insurance was accompanied on this important visit by the Director of the company’s Kosti branch, Mr. Elias Hassan Elias.

The meeting addressed ways to activate and develop a comprehensive insurance framework for agricultural projects in the state, and discussed mechanisms to protect producers and farmers from natural and climatic risks, thereby ensuring the sustainability of both crop and livestock production in White Nile State, which is considered one of the key pillars supporting food security in Sudan.

Engineer Wisal Al-Sheikh Farah praised the significant and leading role played by Taawuniya Insurance Company through its innovative and specialized agricultural insurance solutions, affirming the Ministry’s full readiness to expand cooperation and remove all obstacles to enable the branch to successfully support agricultural seasons.

For his part, Engineer Khalid Mahjoub Saleh reaffirmed the company’s full commitment to providing the necessary technical and insurance support, and to harnessing all available expertise and resources to serve the farmers of the state through the Kosti branch. He also commended the warm reception and strong spirit of partnership shown by the Ministry of Production.
