The Sudanese-American Friendship Association (SAFA) organized a workshop to discuss the current state of relations between Sudanese and American banks and explore the possibility of establishing direct banking transactions without intermediaries or correspondent banks.

The workshop also addressed financial inclusion and ways to integrate small-scale producers into the banking system through microfinance.

Furthermore, the importance of agricultural financing (Green Financing) was highlighted, particularly in view of the insurance services provided by Ta'awuniya Insurance Company, which offer coverage for the various areas discussed during the workshop.
